Tomoyuki, whose real name is Miyagi Tomoyuki, was born in Tokyo in March 1990. He was influenced by his parents and watched many period dramas called Jidaigeki from an early age, and decided to become a swordsmith when he was in junior high school. His master was Yoshihara Yoshindo of Mukansa, who is praised as a genius swordsmith and specializes in the Bizen style, and his work has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. His style is characterized by being intense and sharp. Although this sword is classified as a Wakizashi as a category, it is a revival of the Sunnobi-tanto, popular in the Nanbokucho period. Therefore, the structure is not shinogi-zukuri, but hira-zukuri. It is a gem with beautiful sakachoji on the midare hamon.
