The surface of the blade has been polished, but it is in very good condition with no scratches, rust, or chips. The jigane features well-forged itame hamon, with the hamon showing niedeki guome.
All the koshirae fittings are original, and the kozuka is also included. This is a complete piece offered at an extremely reasonable price. It can be displayed as a standalone piece or paired with a katana you already ownāeither way, it is a highly recommended work of art.
