Morikazu is a swordsmith living in Satsuma-cho, Kagoshima Prefecture, and his real nameĀ is Kazumasa Fujita. This sword is one of the best among his works.
The sword is in very good condition and is suitable for Iai or Batto. There is very minor black rusting on the back side of the blade. The blade was polishedĀ for iai, so it does not have a mirror finish, but you can still enjoy the hamon and hada.
TheĀ ornament metals of theĀ fittings are modern. TheĀ tsuka-ito is tightly wrapped with suede leather. There are rub marks on the scabbard from friction.
This sword is highly recommended as tameshigiri sword.
